Appodous (“Appodous,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the mobile game Run The Red (the “Game”). This Privacy Policy explains how we and our service providers collect, use, share, and protect information when you play the Game.

By downloading or using the Game, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Appodous does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying information to play the Game, unless we clearly tell you otherwise.

However, the Game uses third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK, to show advertisements. These services may automatically collect or receive certain information from your device, including:

• Device identifiers, such as your device advertising identifier (for example, Apple’s IDFA or Android Advertising ID), device ID, and app-set identifier
• Internet Protocol (IP) address, which may indicate an approximate geographic area
• Device and technical information, such as device model, operating system, language, network information, and app version
• Game and advertising interaction data, such as app launches, ad views, taps, video views, and responses to ads
• Diagnostic and performance information, such as app launch time, crashes, hangs, and energy usage
• Information used for fraud prevention, security, and measurement
• Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares IP address, user interactions, diagnostics, and device/account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes.

How We Use Information

We and our advertising partners may use collected information to:

• Display ads in the Game, including personalized or non-personalized ads where permitted
• Measure ad performance, ad frequency, and engagement
• Prevent fraud, invalid traffic, abuse, and security incidents
• Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot the Game and advertising services
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights

We do not sell your name, email address, or other contact information because we do not collect those categories of information through the Game.

Advertising Partners

The Game uses Google AdMob and/or the Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may collect and use information according to their own privacy policies.

Advertisements may be personalized based on device identifiers, app activity, and other information available to Google and its partners, where allowed by law and your device settings.

Your Choices

Depending on your location, device, and applicable law, you may have choices regarding personalized advertising.

• iOS: You can limit app tracking by going to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turning off permission for the Game to track you. Where required, the Game will request permission before accessing the advertising identifier for tracking.
• Android: You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or limit personalized ads, through your device’s privacy or advertising settings. Google notes that users can reset or delete the Android advertising ID in device settings.
• Consent choices: Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before using information for personalized advertising. You may change your choices through your device settings.

Choosing not to receive personalized ads does not necessarily stop ads from appearing; you may still receive non-personalized ads.

Children’s Privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us at privacy@appodous.com and we will take appropriate steps to address the request.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operating the Game, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfers

Our advertising providers, including Google, may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws of your jurisdiction.

Your Privacy Choices and Requests

Appodous does not collect, store, or maintain personal information that identifies you directly through the Game. Therefore, we generally cannot access, correct, or delete information collected independently by third-party advertising providers, including Google.

Google may collect and process certain information when it delivers advertisements in the Game. To access, manage, delete, or control information processed by Google, please use Google’s privacy controls and My Ad Center, or review Google’s Privacy Policy. Google provides tools that allow users to access, review, update, export, and delete certain information, and to control ad personalization.

If you contact Appodous about privacy, we will review your request and respond based on information under our control. If your request concerns Google’s advertising data, we may direct you to Google’s privacy controls or, where appropriate, assist in forwarding the request to the relevant provider.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on our website and change the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Game after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
